Terms and Conditions

When using this website you signify your agreement to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Your Account

When using this website, it is your responsibility to ensure the confidentiality of your account and password and to ensure that no unauthorised persons have access to them. When you create and account and password you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Please let us know immediately if you suspect your password has become known to anyone else or if the password is being, or is likely to be used in an unauthorised manner.

Plugit Wood reserves the right to refuse access to the website, edit or remove content, terminate accounts or cancel any order at our discretion regardless of customer account status. If we choose to cancel an order you will not be charged.

2. Making a Purchase

When you purchase an item or items from Plugit Wood we will send you an email confirming receipt and details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is then accepted by us once your order has been processed and packaged. This contractual obligation will be complete at the time your order is shipped.

3. Problems with Payment

If any problems arise when collecting payment from a debit or credit card once receipt or your order has been confirmed we will not be obliged to despatch the order. There may be occasions when we may be unable to process your order. This may be due to items being discontinued or out of stock. If you are using a valid card and are still experiencing issues please email sales@plugitwood.co.uk and we will contact you.

4. How Plugit Wood can cancel this agreement

We reserve the right to cancel this agreement if we have insufficient stock. We will contact you by email or telephone to see if an alternative would be suitable.

5. Product Display and Pricing

Whilst we endeavour to display the products featured as accurately as possible, the timbers featured may vary in colour and detail to the images depicted on this website. We make every effort to ensure the prices featured are correct, however we reserve the right to cancel any orders for items placed which are priced incorrectly on our website. We are not obliged to supply goods at the incorrect price. In this rare occurrence you will be contacted prior to shipping to ascertain how you wish to proceed.

6. Returns

You may return any unwanted items to us within 30 days of receiving your order as long as they are in a resalable condition (does not apply to cut dowels or framing pegs). All goods will be inspected on return and refunds will be issued at our discretion for items returned in an unsuitable condition.

If you have ordered the wrong item you will need to return it for a refund and place a new order. Returns will be made at your cost and we will not fund original postage paid.

The items for return are your responsibility until we receive them and we recommend the use of a tracked delivery service for return.

Please note returns do not need to be in the original packaging, as long as they are packed properly to avoid damage in transit.

7. Cancelling this Agreement

Your right to cancel this agreement is protected Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You have the right to cancel your agreement within a period of 14 calendar days on receipt of goods. Please notify us as soon as possible with your cancellation requests. If we have already despatched your order you will need to either refuse delivery or return items via our returns policy section 6. We will issue a credit or refund for the full purchase price minus the original postage paid within 7 days from the day that we receive returned goods.

8. Terms of sale

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible.

In the rare occurrence that orders become lost in transit, 14 days must pass from the date of dispatch before an investigation can be opened. Please note we will not refund or replace any parcel that is lost in transit before 14 days has passed.

9. Website Errors

We try to ensure the most accurate and reliable information on our website at all times. On rare occasions there may have been errors made with pricing or item availability. If we discover a pricing error has been made, we reserve the right to hold your order and contact you to see whether you wish to proceed with the order at the correct price. We are under no obligation to supply items at the incorrect price.

10. VAT

We are a UK registered website and are under no legal obligation to supply items with zero VAT. We accept EU VAT numbers, however you will need to contact us via email accounts@plugitwood.co.uk so we can provide you with a VAT free quotation. Please be aware that it is not possible to reclaim VAT after a purchase has been made.

11. Complaints

At Plugit Wood we operate a complaints handling procedure and aim to resolve any disputes when brought to our attention. If you have any complaints or comments please contact us at sales@plugitwood.co.uk and we will do our best to put it right.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
